A-Trak invades Denver

As part of their weekly Noise series which combines indie, pop, electronica and nu disco, BETA Nightclub welcomed world renowned superstar DJ and producer A-Trak to the Mile High City on Friday night.  With the best sound system (my ears are still ringing) in all of Denver it was only appropriate to have one of the best behind the one’s and two’s.  Blending and mashing away a slew of electronic beats A-Trak took over and fed the electro craving masses with song after song never missing a beat.  For those unfamiliar with A-Trak, he is founder of the Fool’s Gold Label and is often found dj’ing with partners in crime Flosstradamus, Diplo, Busy P, and other well respected party dj’s.  His unique approach can turn an ordinary song into an all out party anthem.

At the age of 15, A-Trak became the youngest winner of the DMC World DJ Championships, since then he has gone on to become one of the most respected and talented dj’s and producers around today, even earning the distinct honor of being Kanye West’s touring dj.  His set usually consists of heavily influenced hip-hop and electro blends and mashes, although his set at BETA was more electro it gave the crowd something to dance to.  If those in attendance this night had never heard of A-Trak I promise you they do now.  With a new website (www.djatrak.com) launched be sure to catch up with A-Trak and his global shenanigans as he tours the world one beat at a time.
