For those of you who will be in Austin during SXSW I highly recommend dropping by this showcase featuring some of the Mile High's finest bands. Having the pleasure of seeing most of these bands here in Denver I would say that you will not be disappointed.

Open to the public, Gigbot, Max3.com along with Morning After Records, is reprising the widely successful Mile Hi-Fidelity party at SXSW 2009. With the highly successful music acts that have broken out of Denver in the past several years (the Fray, 3oh!3, the Flobots, Devotchka…) the industry has it’s spotlight on Colorado. Mile Hi-Fidelity is taking that spotlight to Austin to showcase other up-and-coming bands from the Front Range like it has done in years past. Vaux, Munly and the Lee Lewis Harlots, The Photo Atlas and The Hot IQs are just a few of the bands that have played this party in earlier years and the potential this years is even bigger. With some of the best bands to have ever come out of Denver performing this year from start to finish you’re going to have a hard time leaving. Mile Hi-Fidelity will be held at the Jackalope – located on 6th St and Trinity, right in the heart of SXSW
