The Ting Tings and MGMT @ McCarren Pool

Howdy folks just got back from New York, it was fun and long, aside from the tourist stuff I was able to watch The Ting Tings and MGMT at McCarren Pool here is my review.


Typically, Brooklyn’s McCarren Park Pool Parties are synonymous with the sweltering hot heat that is the norm in the city every summer. With a series of free concerts at this old abandoned pool, you can often find some of Brooklyn’s finest hipsters enjoying the national acts that come through this unique setting. With the economy the way it is, these free concerts appeal to the fans that go to shows for the love of music and not the so-called crowd-watchers who were in attendance. First up to bat were UK’s The Ting Tings who shared the stage with Brooklyn’s own MGMT on this rainy day.
