Day 1 of the Monolith Music Festival brought to you by eSurance (that is the official title by the way) is now over. It was an awesome day 1 as we got to see some cool bands. Highlights of the day included DAS EFX, Editors, Flosstradamus and Kid Sister (thanks guys for signing my URB magazine cover), Kings of Leon, The Decemberist and my personal favorite Black Rebel Motorcycle Club. I was able to secure my media passes for the festival, we also managed to give away a few goodies from Filter Magazine. The festival was set-up pretty good with stage setups and time slots, very organized. We now embark on day 2. Today's highlights include sets from Art Brut, Meese, Spoon, The Brian Jonestown Massacre, Matt & Kim, Hot IQ's and finally The Flaming Lips.
