A Tribe Called Quest has announced the cancellation of their headline performance at tomorrow’s (Friday, August 23) SanDisk Rock the Bells Festival at Fiddler’s Green in Denver, CO. Founding member Phife Dawg is dealing with health issues related to diabetes. Q-Tip, Ali and Jarobi state, “We are really disappointed we can’t perform at Rock the Bells in Denver. We are sure you understand our main concern now is getting Phife back to good health.” A Tribe Called Quest is still scheduled to perform at the September 6 show at The Gorge in George Washington. Meanwhile, SanDisk Rock the Bells festival promoter Guerilla Union has added Black Star featuring Mos Def and Talib Kweli to the line up. "We are very disappointed that A Tribe Called Quest will be unable to perform in Denver. We are glad that Phife Dawg is feeling better and wish him the best for a speedy recovery,” states Chang Weisberg of Guerilla Union. “Our fans know that we are committed to make hip-hop history at every show. With that said, Talib Kweli has agreed to make the trip all the way from Zurich Switzerland to join Mos Def for a very rare and legendary Black Star performance."

This Just In.....
Although I wanted to see A Tribe Called Quest and I guess the fact that we are seeing one of the greatest duo's since Jordan and Pippen isn't all that bad. I still get to wear my new Obama shirt that I picked up here.
