SXSW 08 Day 2

Today we started off late, but made a furious late comeback to end the night. Woke pretty late from the night before rested up the engines and were ready to roll. Started off at Filters Cedar Street Showcase...saw Lightspeed Champion, he was ehhh alright. Then headed over to the TX Garage for the iheartcomix vs Mad Decent showcase one of the most unique venues......a parking garage. Saw Cut Copy, Simian Mobile Disco, Matt and Kim (those two always put on a hell of a show). We then headed over to Blender House to catch Drive A, these 4 guys were all like 15-16 years olds rocking out they were pretty good. Enjoyed free vodka, saw the highlight (actually one of many) of the night Cool Kids, these two tore it up had the crowd in a frenzy....afterwards mingled around and enjoyed more free vodka. Finally A Trak came out, I was psyched to see his set as he is one of my favorites what made it even better was right at his side was none other than Diplo, amazing set from the dynamic duo. All in all great night of booze, music and two of my idols on the 1's and 2's. Today's plan catch Denver's own Devotchka at Cedar Street and Filters Special guest Kate Nash. Then we end things right at the Diesel Party tonight to catch She & Him, the Ting Tings, and Port O'Brien. My liver hurts I'm out!!!
