St. Vincent at The Bluebird Theater

I had a chance to catch St. Vincent this past Tuesday at The Bluebird.  Annie Clark performing under the moniker of St. Vincent gave the Bluebird audience an up close and personal performance on a damp wet Tuesday night at The Bluebird.  The Texas native reached from a catalog of old and new to delight the  audience.  Giving us a taste of new material from her album "Actor", which was actually produced on Garageband while touring in France circa 2007, Clark gave a performance that was absorbed by the audience as she elegantly shredded away on her array of guitars and distortion pedals.  The show seemed to have been over after only an hour in which the crowd began to patiently feel displeasured, leave it to Annie to playfully inform the crowd of the laws of concert etiquette and the all so infamous encore performance.  After leaving the stage the talented backing band returned for a few songs to close out the show.
