Ragged #5 Out Now

(LOS ANGELES, Calif.) The innovative minds behind Filter Magazine and American Rag Cie clothing have released the fifth issue of RAGGED, the magazine devoted to bringing music and fashion worlds together through print and photography. RAGGED includes articles on up-and-coming bands as well as old favorites, thus continuing FILTER’s tradition of bringing quality music coverage to the public-at-large. In addition, American Rag Cie lends its passion and eye for style by outfitting all featured artists in exclusive American Rag clothing.

The current issue of RAGGED features cover story, “Striking the Perfect Balance: Jem Settles for Serenity,” which gives a compelling look into Jem’s “Jekyll-and-Hyde” approach to both her life and her songwriting process. Other features include Uh Huh Her’s guide to Los Angeles, the rise of The Republic Tigers, The Subways’ career-threatening health battles, playing favorites with Delta Spirit, the records that inspired The Jealous Girlfriends, and a discussion on navigating the bourgeoning Silver Lake music scene with The Watson Twins.

Issues of RAGGED #5 can be found for free at music festivals and events across the country, including Austin City Limits, Seaport Festival, and Bumbershoot. The issue is also available to download free online at www.RaggedMag.com along with music from all the artists.

Filter Creative Group manages circulation of this unique publication, in which all artists are featured wearing American Rag Cie apparel. Sold exclusively at Macy's, American Rag Cie offers the latest breaking trends for young men and women seeking fashion with an indie vibe. Celebrating individuality and authenticity, the collection includes an extensive line of attire that is perfect for layering and intermixing.
