Mile High Salute

Before I begin this post I want to reassure everybody that I am and always will be a Redskin fan, I had a chance to attend Broncos Training Camp this morning and it was awesome. I am a fan of football and having the opportunity to witness these athletes literally a couple feet away was fun. They ran a set of drills with the first and second teams(lots of different formations), the play of the day was actually the last play of camp in which Van Pelt hit a streaking Darius Watts down the sideline for a 40 yard bomb, what was so goodl about it was that it was right in front of us. Although we had to leave FoCo at almost 7:00 a.m. in order to get there on time, it was well worth it. One thing i can say about the Broncos is that they seemed poise to repeat their performance from last year (AFC Championship). A couple things impressed me, The Broncos secondary is probably one of the best in the league, Jay Cutler will be a good quarterback someday. We also got a chance to witness a fight between two players, if i was a coach that would pump me up to see these guys going at it. Last but not least i got to see Champ Bailey again, i had seen him his Rookie year with the Redskins when they played the Arizona Cardinals. All-in-all impressed with my first NFL trainning camp experience. Since we are on the subject of football my fantasy team is set, i would say i have a pretty good team, here are my studs....QB-Eli Manning, RB-Clinton Portis, WR's-Torry Holt and Santana Moss, TE-Tony Gonzalez, Defense-Seahawks, K-Tynes..............Hopefully Portis gets healthy and Moss and Holt put up some huge numbers. By the way my team is called the Pink Tacos.
